Mitchell’s campsite will be at Hitchcock Park located at 1201 E Hanson St in Mitchell. Hitchcock Park features ball diamonds, concession stands and drinking water, flower gardens, horseshoe courts, multi-purpose court, picnic shelters, picnic areas, playground equipment, tennis courts and a bandstand. It is also home to the brand new Hitchcock Aquatic Center with water slide, 0-depth play area with water features, and 6-lane 50-meter pool, concession stand, restroom/showers and drinking water.




Mitchell, South Dakota located along Interstate 90, is in a region known for its abundance of pheasants; they attract thousands of hunters each year. The abundance of Mitchell doesn’t stop there.
