The TAPPS group was formed in May 2007 in an effort to provide an after prom party for the students of Tea Area High School. The group was started after the information was learned of the high rate of alcohol related accidents and deaths that have been happening during the prom and graduation activities. It is the intention of the group to provide a safe place for the students to gather for a night of fun and entertainment that is alcohol and drug free. This years After Prom Party was held on April 12 and included karaoke, a hypnotist, games, inflatables, and prizes for each guest. Our Tea Volunteer Fireman served the kids breakfast at 5:00 a.m. Continuing to raise funds for future alcohol and drug free events is something that is near and dear to many parents hearts.
